Sales have been just as blistering in Canada. Despite the economic woes affecting most Canadians, Nintendo still managed to sell more than 123,000 Wii consoles here in November – a 40-per-cent increase over the same month one year ago.
The red-hot sales in North America have seen Nintendo increase Wii production at least three times over the past two years. The company is now shipping 50 per cent of all Wiis into North America in an attempt to meet demand
